No — we don’t offer dry cleaning, but our commercial-grade washers handle most fabrics beautifully. If your item requires dry cleaning, we’re happy to recommend a local provider.

We love our furry friends, but Blue Hippo stores don’t offer pet blanket washing facilities. To keep our laundromats fresh, clean and comfortable for everyone—especially customers with allergies and sensitivities—we ask that pet items aren’t washed in our standard machines.

An exception to this is our Norlane store, which has a dedicated pet blanket washer that has been part of the store offering for many years. While it’s still available there, pet washing facilities aren’t included in new Blue Hippo locations.

Yes! You’re welcome to bring your own detergent, fabric softener or laundry products. If you’ve forgotten them, don’t worry—all of our stores have convenient soap-dispensing machines so you can grab what you need before starting your wash.

Generally yes — a gentle warm cycle with a separate mesh bag works well. Remove laces and insoles first for best results.
